Full Day Tour to Dendera & Abydos from Luxor

The ancient Egyptians refers to their  homeland by KEMET, the black land of dark alluvium, where life and civilization flourished as the benign gods intended , Further North of Luxor, Middle Egypt is chiefly known for its sacred temples at Abydos and Dendera We’ll travel by road, firstly we’ll go to the north of Luxor in an expedition full day to visit the temple of King Seti I which dedicated to God Osiris at Abydos for the ancient Egyptians, this was the homeland or KEMET, the black land of dark alluvium, where life and civilization flourished as the benign gods intended , the ancient Egyptian devoutly wished to make a spiritual pilgrimage to Abydos , Abydos is the cult center of the Gid Osiris , Abydos complex is extremely expansive and so much of the mystery and beauty that it hold , then we’ll have a close-up look at the megalithic site called Osirion , a freestanding building into an underground temple, rediscovered by Seti I c.1280 BC and understand the whole story of God Osiris in its whole and his marriage to the divine bride Goddess Isis . after site visit, we’ll have an authentic lunch at hotel House of Life, return back by road to reach the beautiful temple of goddess Hathor at Dendera, goddess of Music and love, the temple of God Hathor and its fabulous astronomical ceiling and nearly intact rooftop sanctuaries offer a unique insight into the solar rituals at the other cult sites where they have not survived, end of our day activities , approaching back by road across the Nile , where you’ll pass fields of onions and clover , donkey cart and camels for an enjoyable ride – back to your address in Luxor by sunset time – end of services
