Abundance Nile Dahabiya Houseboat: The experience of sailing the Nile on a dahabiya fulfills dreams and is quite different from traveling on a floating hotel like a cruise ship. The dahabiya experience is a privilege both romantic and intimate. Feel the wind in your hair, float along, and the only sound you’ll hear is the wind in the sails and children laughing on the riverbank wishing you a happy journey. Abundance Nile Dahabiya accommodates 10 guests in four double cabins and one suite, all air-conditioned. Enjoy the feeling of traveling in small groups in a romantic and intimate ambiance. All the beautiful temples can be visited at the right time of day. Abundance Nile Dahabiya can moor in places where a cruise ship cannot, such as islands and villages along the bank. You also can take a walk through the village and observe the bustling village life.

Transfer from any address in Aswan to embark on the Nile Dahabiya. After a welcome by the crew, the boat sets sail towards a small island for a walk through the tranquil countryside. After lunch on the sundeck, you visit the only double temple of Egypt in Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. The temple has double entrances, procession routes, and sanctuaries. Continue sailing to the ancient sandstone quarries at Gebel el-Silsila. First night on board.
After breakfast, you explore the rock temple and the remains of monuments in the old quarries. While daily life on the riverbanks gets underway and the first fishermen are at work, you can relax on the sundeck while the crew sails to Edfu. Here you see the fantastically well-preserved temple of Horus, the falcon god. The walls of the innermost part of the temple are completely covered in texts, which actually makes it a library carved in stone. The day ends at a small Nile island where you have dinner around a campfire. The second night on board.
Sail to El Kab, the ancient city of Nekheb with temples and rock tombs from the Old Kingdom. Visit some of the tombs cut into the cliffs and the remains of its temples. Sailing to Esna. Third and last night on board.
